A New Worst Nightmare

We all remember what it was like, our first day of school. Though we may or may not admit it, it was a nerve-wracking day for all of us. New people, new teachers, new classes, and a new campus. There was always the worry about being the "babies" of the school, and getting picked on by the upper-classmen. We can never forget that we would totally humiliate ourselves in front of the entire school. I interviewed a couple of freshmen about their new school, and how they felt about it.
"I thought the other kids would bug me about my age but they're actually pretty easy on me.", said Kris Kittle when asked what he thought about high school.
"I loved coming to Madison, there are so many new people." said Tracy Applegate.
These new freshman seem to be having a great time at Madison. But not everyone’s time at Madison is just fine and dandy. Some of those nightmares do come true. One nightmare, for example, was a freshman’s birthday. There’s such a thing called a “birthday bash”. For guys, this might mean getting beat-up. For girls this could be anything to embarrass you. Such as being egged, milked, or anything following those lines. One freshman was chased all over school, until she threw up, and then hit with 16 eggs. She was dripping so badly she was forced to leave school early. This is proof that bad things do happen, not everything is great.
Everyone has a different experience at high school. No matter what parents may think, we all know that high school is not as easy it used to be. Bad first impressions can haunt you for the rest of your high school career. Imagine how hard that knowledge can be for a person entering an entirely new world.
To all the freshman out there, welcome to your new worst nightmare.
