The Foundation:
The Alpha Phi Foundation, founded in 1956, was established eighty-four years after the Fraternity.  The Foundation, in fact, is a seperate organization from the Fraternity and has its own officers, its own staff, and its own board of directors.  The Foundation was seen then, and is seen now, as being necessary to plan for the fraternity of tomorrow.  The Fraternity and the Foundation work hand in hand.

The Mission:
The mission of the Foundation is to support the highest ideal of womanhood and service, serve the educational mission of Alpha Phi, and be the premier philanthropy for the causes of women.  The Alpha Phi Foundation supports educational and leadership programs, offers scholarships, assists women in crisis, recognizes outstanding cardiac care and research programs, supports community organizations and awards outstanding college professors.

Locally:
Our chapter hosts two annual philanthropic events to raise money for women across the country:

In addition, we support local charities such as the Salvation Army, Relay for Life, and local hospitals.
