TARA MACLAY Tara is played by Amber benson. The character of Tara was first introduced in the episode, "Hush." She met Willow in a Wicca group at school and as time progressed, the two built a unique relationship. Both practicing Wicca's, the two worked on spells together, at times combining their powers to tackle difficult spells. Willow and Tara got closer eventually making it very clear to the audience that they were more than just friends. In the episode, "Goodbye Iowa," Tara prevented a spell from working properly. The spell was to locate demons in Sunnydale and it has not yet been determined why she did that. In the episode, "New Moon Rising," Willow chose to end her relationship with long-time boyfriend Oz in favor or continuing her relationship with Tara. In the season finale, "Restless," it was made clear that Tara is hiding something from those close to her. Throughout Buffy's dreams, Tara offered confusing guidance to the Slayer. Then things turned around when willow and tara broke up because of willow use of magic. But sdon they were back together. But then Tara was shot, and killed by warren-a enemy of buffy's.:-(
