Many people gets annoyed when every time they using a program that came with Win95 to record sound, it would set the default directory at c:\windows\media\. And
when they change the sounds in there control panel it would start there. Here is a
way to change it:
Run Regedit
Open the folders HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
Then select, but don't open the CurrentVersion key.
There should be a string called MediaPath.
Reset the value to the directory you want.
You can also change the registered owner (RegisteredOwner)
registered organization (RegisteredOrganization)
default program directory (ProgramFilesDir) |
