Bruce Wayne (Kevin Conroy) is the original Batman, and still an influential figure in Gotham City, though bitter and aged. This die-hard hero is the voice of reason with Terry, his mentor, his information center, and what Terry said was kind of a "father figure."

Ace is the Batdog. He started out as a fight dog, but when his first fight was busted, he got loose, and was found in the street by Bruce Wayne, just a few feet from where Wayne's parents were killed. He protects Terry, and Terry protects him, both have a need to fight, and have since developed a respect and kinship (He looks so cute petting Ace!).

Max Gibson (Cree Summer) is Terry's confidant and good friend. She knows he's Batman, and tries to help when she is "allowed" by Terry and Bruce. Hill High's Valedictorian, she is also a computer whiz, and is content with spending her day in the lab at school, hacking.

Barbara Gordon (Stockard Channing/Angie Harmon) is now Police Commissioner Gordon, and married to District Attorney Sam Young. Though, her Batgirl suit has been hung up for a long time, and she now follows her father in his way, she still helps Terry in his battle, though, she does try to keep him out of her business as much as possible.

Julio "July" Jimenez (comics only) is Terry's old-time best friend. These two hung out and had their turf, fighting off gangs who invaded them. In one such case, July saved Terry's life by dodging a bat that was about to make a baseball out of Terry's head. They also have a secret handshake. When July first comes into the BB universe, it's in comic #20, and he is one of many hopefuls to be initiated as a Joker. He says he's doing it for his wife and soon-to-be three children. He doesn't want his new baby to have to grow up poor. And, when Terry finally convinces him to turn around, and help fight against the Jokerz, he is put under witness protection to testify in many trials involving the Jokerz. Looks like he gets a better life for all of his kids, and his wife, after all.

Matt McGinnis (Ryan O'Donahue) is Terry's annoying little brother. He means well, and absolutely idolizes Batman, but at the same lives to see Terry get into trouble. He says Batman rips, and calls Terry a loser, but, then again, if only he knew….

Mary McGinnis (Teri Garr) is Terry and Matt's mother. She divorced from their father but now has to take care of both sons with no help from her late ex-husband. She doesn't like that Terry is so swamped with his job, but is glad that he has a job, especially with Bruce Wayne. She can be a bit spacey at times, but she means well.

Warren McGinnis (Michael Gross) is Terry's late father. He worked as a scientist at Wayne-Powers, but was killed by the personal assistant (Mr. Fixx) of the company's CEO, Derek Powers, when he acquired some incriminating evidence of his. Terry and he had a stormy relationship, which left Terry with much guilt after his death.

Sam Young
(Paul Winfield) is the District Attorney, and husband to Barbara Gordon. He's had his run in with criminals, and in turn met Batman, but everything worked out, even after Gordon refused to let Terry help. His wife knows the true identity of the Tomorrow Knight, but it's doubtful he does.

Howard Groote (Max Brooks) is a friend of Terry's at school who constantly pursues acceptance into the "in-crowd." He learns his lesson (Well, kind of) when a plan of his involving a Cynthoid girlfriend, named Cynthia "blows up" in his face. He seems to see what kind of trouble being trying to be popular is when his moment of fame explodes.

Dana Tan (Lauren Tom) is Terry's demanding and rather possessive girlfriend. True, she doesn't understand why her boyfriend "neglects" her, but also doesn't get the concept of his having to help out his family, and Wayne. Perhaps, if she made more time for him, she'd end up with more Terry in her life. Now, wouldn't that make anyone happy?

Jared Tate (Omar Gooding) is Terry's friend from Hill High. His mother just recently got remarried, and though his wariness of his new dad did turn out to have some substantial backing behind it, they've worked things out, and are now very happy.

Chelsea Cunningham(Yvette Lowenthal/Rachel Leigh Cook) is a good friend of Dana's. For the most part, Chelsea seems like a total flake, but she isn't all that bad. Her true character shows through when she is sent away to a place for "troubled kids." This category does not fit Chelsea, though she will love to do something just to get her father's attention.

Bobbi "Blade" Sommer (Melissa Disney) is one of the "popular" girls at Hill High. She hangs around with Dana and Chelsea. She's not much for her schoolwork, or for dating nerds, and Blade has had experiences with boys chasing her, to an extreme. She got the pleasure of being paired with Terry (I want to be paired with Terry for anything!) for their Family Studies class ‘eggbaby project,' let's just say, she should never become a mom.

Nelson Nash (Seth Green) is the school "hot shot." Mr. I-think-I'm-too-good-for-anyone-else is a big rival of Terry's. The two seem to have shared many fights, though they can sometimes talk to each other without one wanting to pound the other (Myabe). In short, Nelson doesn't pose a threat to Terry, though he'd like to think he did.
