They look like twins but they aren't! The one with his moustache going up is Mr. Thomson and the one with his moustache going down is Mr. Thompson! They are members of Scotland Yard but to this day, I wonder how they got in! Thomson and Thompson are far from being intelligent! They are always dressing up in folkloric costumes in order to "blend in" with the clothes worn in the countries where they go. They obviously never do. They are very clumsy and always get injured some way or another. They are so brilliant, that if they were lost in a desert, they would follow their own footprints! They are also disorganized when they talk. For example, they say things like "Dumb's the word, that's our motto!" or "I would say even more,".
Nestor:
First the butler for the Bird brothers (Secret of the Unicorn), Nestor stays at Marlinspike Hall when Haddock becomes the owner of Marlinspike Hall. With a very groomed appearance, Nestor is a very typical butler and has the typical accent. He seems to have no reactions. He also appreciates the captain's whiskey and, of course, sometimes peeps through the keyhole or listens behind doors!
Jolyon Wagg:
Jolyon Wagg is an insurance agent for Rock Botton Insurance. He was added to this series to brighten it up a little bit and make it more funny. He came to the series in The Calculus Affair. Jolyon is a very funny person and is very social. One of his favorites things is to tell people the stories of his Uncle Anatole. He likes to bring his large family to Marlinspike Hall (for newbies to the Tintin series, this is where Captain Haddock lives). In most pictures you see of him, he usually is either laughing or smiling!
Bianca Castafiore:
She is a famous opera star in the Tintin world who has a very high voice! She is the only female character in the Tintin series with significance. She is very emotional and can get worked up over nothing! She is not exactly what you would call modest and sometimes she thinks the world revolves around her.
Irma:
There isn't too much about her only that she is a "servant" to Bianca Castafiore. Irma is very loyal to her and does whatever she commands!
Wagner:
Again, not to much information on Mr. Wagner. Like Irma, he travels with Bianca Castafiore and helps her with tasks. He plays the piano often because Bianca forces him against his own will. :)
