Author’s Note: Shattered Illusions is probably my favorite story I have ever written. I’ve tried to venture away from the genre I usually write and made it a bit more sci-fantsy/mystery type. I was inspired to write Shattered Illusions after watching a 48 hour marathon of the Twilight Zone while reading Strangers by Dean Koontz. I stood no chance.
