There were plenty of adventures on Long Island, and plenty of things to see, as Mommy and Daddy went to some old stomping grounds.

This is the house Mommy and Daddy owned in Rocky Point.  Many people believed it was haunted by a ghost named Gwendolyn and another named Captain Whiting.

The house was surveyed by George Lutz, owner of the Amityville Horror house.

This is the famous Smithtown Bull, near where Daddy had his first teaching job.
One of Long Island's famous sights is THE BIG DUCK, where duck eggs can be purchased from the duck's tummy.
Heading East, we saw several famous windmills in Bridgehampton and Easthampton.
This is the Shinecock Canal, where Daddy had many youthful adventures.
I was afraid to ask him about the things that happened on the beaches of Hampton Bays.
We got to see my grandparents at a party.  They were really surprised to see us there.
This is Wildwood State Park, where we stayed for the weekend, and where a huge bug crawled into my daddy's ear and decided to dig into his eardrum.

Firemen came; they did nothing.  We drove several hours with Daddy screaming in pain until we finally found a hospital; they did nothing.  An ear specialist had to rip it out of his ear the following day.

I was proud of Daddy: he was in such pain and he hardly said any bad words at all!
