Why Virtual Madeira?

I am not a Madeiran. I have chosen freely to live in Madeira and I love this place since I first saw it.

In Madeira Island, Internet and digital comunications as a whole are being subjected to monopoly by some few not always competent and not allways far-sighted people. This have been causing an unacceptable delay in bringing Madeira to the digital comunications mainstage therefore blocking the natural evolution from a periferial region to a global comunication node.

These pages are an individual contribution with well defined objectives:

Present an independent, honest and reliable image of Madeira to the international comunity

Try to join together all the people who care about Madeira and want to contribute to its development

Support every iniciative in behalf of the previous objectives
