Modern Handling Equipment Sdn. Bhd. helped Johor Bahru gain another first in Malaysia by designing and producing Malaysia's first scissor lifts system.

Named after its shape, the scissor lift is also called table lifters and is an essential tool for industries that require elevation power in their work process.

These lifts are designed, fabricated and installed locally, with the major portion of the raw materials sourced locally and this gives the company the competitive edge over rival companies as its products are about half the price of imported models.

The price varies between RM5,000 and RM1 million per unit.
