CALL FOR PAPERS
WORKSHOP ON THE INDUSTRY PROBLEMS IN SUDAN
The Sudanese Engineering Society in United Kingdom & Ireland (SESUKI) proposes to convene a workshop in London (United Kingdom) during February 1999. The workshop aims at a greater understanding of the Industrial Problems in Sudan and the means of solving them. It is our hope that the workshop will cover the following topics:

• Consumer Products Industries such as food oils, soap, biscuits, etc.
• Textile Industry.
• Energy and Mineral Resources sector such as petroleum, gold, etc..
• Pharmaceutical Industry problems.
• Agricultural-related Industries.
• General Light Industries in Sudan.
• Any other relevant aspect.

Contributions are sought from specialists in the various fields. Special calls are directed to industrial houses and associations who suffer real day-to-day problems. Abstracts for the papers are invited before the November, the 15th 1998, while papers are expected to be submitted in their final forms before the mid of January 1999. Also, we will be extremely grateful if expected participants could kindly suggest any other names that we can directly contact.
