Jens Knopp was born February 29, 1828 in Osternykirke, Denmark. He married Anne Jacobsen May 22, 1901. He traveled with his wife and family to America and finally settled in Moroni, Utah, having followed the Mormon pioneers. He died May 22, 1901 in Moroni, Utah.
