This gate leads into one of the many temples and palaces that adjoin the Durbar Square in Bakhtapur, Nepal. The gate is called the Sun Dhoka, but I am sorry to say that I haven't the faintest idea what that means. I have it on good authority, however, that the gate is considered to be the single most important work of art in the Kathmandu Valley (by whom, I know not). The photograph has been re-sized, but otherwise I left it as the camera took it.
