[Prayer flags]

At the top of every well-traveled pass in Tibet, one will see rock cairns and prayer flags. These flags, which release the prayers written upon them each time they move in the wind, lend a bit of color to the otherwise bleak landscape. This image was taken at 15,000 feet and has not been altered.
