Before asking any questions, I recommend
you do these three things first.
-
Read Brockton O'Toole's FAQ three times
to learn the basics of getting to TJ, doing your busines and getting back
out with skin and wallet intact.

Questions
These are some of the most commonly asked
questions in the ASPT chat room.
-
Who's the best girl to
go with?
This is usually the first question a new
participant asks when he gets into the room. Remember research?
It's better to come in with a question about a particular lady. Besides
in a room of 10 regulars you could easily get 10 different answers. I've
always thought it best to go into the club and go with someone who starts
your engine.
-
Is it safe?
If you're asking this exact question, you
haven't read O'Toole's FAQ. Go directly
to jail. Do not pass Go. Do NOT collect $200.
Okay,
is it safe to walk around TJ in general? TJ is NOT Disneyland safe.
A mugging can happen lightening quick even in broad daylight, so it is
not a good idea to let your mind wander. This is a sure invitation to be
jumped on. Always be aware of your surroundings and spread your money
out in different pockets.
-
When is the best time
to go?
The smartass and correct answer would be
when the ladies are there. It would depend on which club you are
most interested in. Hong Kong and Chicago are best Tuesdays thru Saturday
after 9pm. Adelitas is opens with a modest selection around 11am and starts
to fill up around 2pm (lord I love this place).
-
How much should I pay?
This one has caused sleepless nights. The
conventional wisdom has been $40 for AB and $50 for CC including $10 for
the room (30 minutes). There are those who feel these amounts are overly
extravagant and say we should be bargaining more. Who's right? I haven't
got a clue. I'm sure that there are techniques that will help you reduce
your cost...if that's what is important to you.
-
Do any of you have pictures
and could you email them to me?
Don't be surprised if you get the chat room
equivalent of deafening silence. Pictures are usually traded between people
who know each other or have established identities in the room. If
they say "no", don't push it. You're gonna have to earn their trust.
-
Can I meet up with one
of you to show me the ropes?
Most of the guys who hang out in ASPT started
out going all by themselves, so you know it isn't exactly brain surgery
(no offense guys). For that reason meeting in the Zone is more of a social
function than one of survival. Most don't mind hooking up with participants
from the room for the purpose of sharing drinks....NONE want to hand hold
a newbie thru his first Zona "date".
You might want to check out Juan's Tours.
He does offer personal tours. If you are particularly nervous as a first-timer,
this might be the way to go.
Summation:
The bottom line. Do some research before
you come into the room. We don't mind giving a bit of advice but it shouldn't
be on something that is already well published.
