Tonto Natural Bridge State Park

Tonto is one of the most interesting state parks I have ever had the joy to visit.  It is a great place for people who like to stay on the paved pass, as well as for those who like to wander off.  The Natural Bridge is really more like a cave that is open on both ends, with a stream running through the middle.  It is far larger and more spectacular than my pictures portray.  If you get a chance, this is a must-see destination while in Arizona.

The creek cuts through rocks and gravel, leaving a maz of potential traffic routes.

This is a side-view of the waterfall near the trailhead.

This is the view looking down into the tunnel.

This is one of my favorites.

The couple standing on the rock at the lower left give a good impression of scale.
