These two photos were taken on my trip to Moloka`i back in 1995. Obviously a much clearer day, the one on the left was taken from Kamalo, whose original name was Kamalo`o (The Dry Place). If you look closely in the background up in the mountain you can see one of the many water falls. This year due to El Niņo I didn't see any falls. At first I thought I wasn't in the right area. But I was, just wasn't the normal this year. (Photo taken facing north towards the mountains) The photo on the right shows Kamalo Harbor with Lana`i in the background. (Photo was taken facing south)

This photo which was taken recently (Nov. '98) is from the pier facing north. Lana`i and Maui are off towards the right.
