The 4th. Field
(formerly 3rd. & 4th. Fields). Our classrooms: I
wonder if the students still have the inspections each morning before classes
commenced. We had to make sure that we were neatly dressed for the day. Our
shoes had to be well polished, clean shirt & tie, a white handkerchief
etc. etc. !! Although "out of
bounds" we would sneak onto the terrace of this building, away from the
crowds, and practice the latest dances the 'Twist', the 'Shake' the
'Locomotion' etc. especially before the upcoming socials. Just behind the
"Infirmary", below the road leading to St. Mary's there was a clump
of 'Lal Jamun' trees where we used to sneak over and have our fill of
delicious berries. Beyond these trees, beside
