St. Mary's Hill - a little
Jhora. I remember
the many walks we took with our class to St. Mary's. The road was paved with
stones and we would be hidden from view by the shadows of the mighty pine trees
that covered the hillside. A most pleasant walk amidst the sounds of nature,
birds chirping in the trees, butterflies flitting by, the twinkling of the
Jhoras as the fresh, clean spring water flowed down towards the Balasun valley.
The many practice matches we
played with the young seminarians studying at St. Mary's enhanced our school
sports program. The students of theology came from Argentina, Spain, Canada,
England, the USA, France and many other countries around the world. Some had
experience playing various sports in their home countries and would pass on
some of their knowledge to us.
