WHERE TO GO AND WHAT TO DO

The majority of the areas comprised within this region -although quite remote- are nevertheless favored by relatively facile approaches, both by road or air transport. No more than a one hour flight or one day's drive by road from the city of Cusco will -in most all cases -place one at any of several trail heads, or river put-in points, or a wildlife sanctuary entrance..

The trips which are then undertaken from those starting points can range between 5 to 15 days in duration. The Ideal All Inclusive Multi-Environmental Tour Package, consisting of combinations of various interconnecting adventure trips such as trekking, river rafting & jungle; interspersed with some conventional city tours (plus hotel accommodations, in-country flights, a touch of overland motoring, plus a train journey or two thrown in) is normally accomplished successfully and efficiently in a three week period of time -or less- with maybe an extra day or two allowed for international flights. A truly wonder filled trip, arduous and challenging at times, yet most satisfying and fulfilling.
