The Brazilian Nature

Brazil as one of the countries which still has a large natural reserve is very aware of their heritage. Through a Natural Park system these often vast areas are protected.  Although the general public (outside of Brazil) is most of time only aware of the existence of the Amazon, there are many breath-taking areas throughout Brazil. The following list of parks I am planning to discuss more in detail. This site will mature as I also learn more in the course of my trips through Brazil.

Chapada Diamantina (National Park in the state of Bahia, BH)
Fernando de Noronha (Island in the Atlantic Ocean)
Floresta da Tijuca (Biggest National Park within a city, Rio de Janeiro/RJ)
The Amazon
The Pantanal

Caves in Chapada Diamantina (BH), through the dissolving of the rocks minerals a almost fluorescent luminance appears.
