Day 17

Sue & Adam

This was another slightly quiet day with laundry being done and the house being tidied up. We left the house shortly after lunch and we went mini golfing at Lake Pertobe. The mini golf was not very exciting with all the holes being a par two. We got bored fairly quickly so we ended up racing through the last several holes.

We played a few games of air hockey and then headed down the coast to Port Fairy. This town is a quaint seaside place which has at least 50 buildings that are listed as National Heritage Buildings. We stopped on the main street and had ice cream cones at a cafe. We browsed in the shops and then went to a playground along the ocean.

When I finally dragged the children away from the slide we drove along the ocean until we reached an outlook to view the surfers from. There we were adopted by a surfer's dog and we played fetch and tug of war with the friendly canine.

We had leftovers for dinner and watched Beverly Hills Cop (2) while Manda and I worked on our photo albums.
