As parents and grandparents we would like to thank all of the friends in Australia who entertained, fed and boarded Susan, Amanda and Adam on their tour to Australia. In walking the many paths of our lifetime, it is very seldom that one gets the chance to do it with such good friends. It is also rare that one gets to do something totally by choice, such as showing very special friends a land of which I am very proud. Thanks Sue, Amanda and Adam for sharing in what was a very special presentation, one Sunday in March. The campfire is always lit, and the billy always has the makins of a cuppa any time you care to partake. To each of the other people mentioned within this journal, thank you for being my friends and making my Canadian friends feel so welcome in Aussie.

Well, after trying to show you Melbourne I'm not sure what to say . Seeing those corpses in the Morgue was not the normal touristy kinda thing (especially since I was along for the ride and didn't arrange it ). But hey, that's Australia - always expect the different and you sure got that. I guess it was the sight of women going feral over the opportunity to shop that really got to me though . Man are my feet SORE!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, it was wonderful to see you again, to talk and to finally meet your wonderful kids. I guess that makes it my turn to go to Canada to meet the rest. I stand by my original statement: Women may have a deep biological need for chocolate but Men need beer!!!!!!!! (or alcohol anyway) Rob
