On the second day we rode from Zafra to Fregenal de la Sierra. The VBT van transferred our luggage and we spent our third and fourth nights at the Hotel Christina in Fregenal. For lunch we stopped at the town of Segura de Leon. The town was having its annual feria, so we sat in the main plaza and people watched. Later that night we went back to Segura de Leon to watch the running of the cows in the town plaza. |

Hit me with your best shot! CMG is standing behind the safety barrier in one of the oldest bullrings in Spain. Matadors leap this wooden wall if the bull is feeling especially frisky. There are some pretty nasty holes and gashes in the 4'x6's. That's an Excedrin strength headache. |
