| Water buffalo at the base of Lonar crater. The crater is a monstrosity of a thing created by a meteor impact aeons ago. The base now is inhabited mainly by a few farmers. At one time it must have been more heavily occupied - around the rim of the lake there are abandoned shrines that now only house viciously territorial monkeys. The trees in the centre of the lake must have flourished in the past as well, but now there's only white skeletal remnants. |
