Folks,
I have neglected duties this year and didn’t send one Christmas card. In a fit of guilt mixed with a bit of creativity I made an alternative plan. Yesterday, Tuesday the 21st, I motored down the Cape Peninsula to Boulder’s Beach., the home of a African (Jackass) Penguin colony near Simon’s Town. Those of you who have visited Cape Town will fondly remember seeing the curious little birds twisting their heads at you and darting under the water. (The more in the know will also relish the Sport’s Illustrated Swimsuit Issue photos!!) The beach is very attractive with giant boulders on shore and in shallow water. I first had spent days finding a Christmas hat and then once at Boulder’s dug up some nervous energy to work up the courage to have someone take the photo. I hope you enjoy it!
