Where we Stayed

We (Rose and Sol, office friends)stayed at Sawasdee Sukhumvit Inn at Sukhumvit Road, Prakanong. It is a budget hotel, and the room had one double bed, and although small, it was clean and cool enough. It was at a convenient location, near the Sky train station where we could take a train to almost any destination in the city.

Shopping trips

Our favorite mall was the Siam Paragon,which has car showrooms, an aquarium, high class food court, and a gourmet food court on the ground floor with a variety of Thai food and the cheapest prices,namd brands outlets - a shopping destination not to be missed. Grand Palace and temple tour

The Grand Palace adjoins Wat Phra Kaew in a common compound, and is where you will end up after exiting Wat Phra Kaew. Here is where we spent most of a whole day just touring and taking pictures.
