If you are going to spend the time and money to travel to Australia, do it up right. If you go with an organized tour, make sure it provides the time to explore and really see the sites. Some tour operators give you the drive by view. You might see more places, but none of them very well. At Uluru-Kata-Tjuta National Park, and at Kakadu there were several "drive by" tours. |
![]() Our tour brought us here in late afternoon on a day with temperatures in the 90s farenheit. Not the optimal time to be hiking. Bringing plenty of water is a necessity. So is a fly net unless you like constantly waving them out of your face. |
