The perfect place to lose youself in nature... literally.

Here's a trip where the camera didn't join me. I took off up to the park in Ontario to walk and to think. Some of the trails were beautiful... passing near abandoned rails, bridges, dams. There were beautiful lakes, marshes, bogs, and pines all around. With a little work, you might also find a wolf to visit with. I quickly found that this park is best visited via canoe, not on foot. Foot trails are limited, whereas canoes are rented by the week to explore the thousands of miles of canals. One of these days, I'll probably return to Algonquin with a strong desire to paddle and portage.
