If you drop your toilet paper, DON'T CHASE IT!

I started this trip by looking for big patches of green on the map near home, but in the mountains. This park looked to be big, close, and rugged. I drove into Kentucky and looked for info, and decided to spend my time in the Red River Gorge area. A gorge was once described to me as "a gorgeous place where the river has had the audacity to cut through a mountain range. I wasn't disappointed. Whether exploring the ups and downs of the trail, visiting with locals in Nada, chatting with rangers, or run-ins with snakes or mountain lions, this trip turned out to be an adventure per minute.
