WHERE ARE WE ALL NOW?

Well, I have shamefully lost track of many of you, but I look forward to hearing from many of you again....Email me at rtravers@bu.edu
Here is what I DO know...
The McAlisters and Jay Levy
have retreated into a monastic existence as they train diligently, dawn-til-dusk, for
their debut Synchronized Swimming event in the upcoming Olympic Games. An
on-the-spot Twin Cam caught some of their ritualized training program... Click HERE for more details....
DOUBLE JEOPARDY!! Karin and Robin
were both contestants on Jeopardy! Robin's show will air on April 16, and Karin's
will be on June 24. Karin was particularly good at the "Aaron Spelling"
category, drawing on her extensive Love Boat-derived knowledge...
Karin has been a skating fiend--she
raced in a skate
marathon near Tahiti, and was trapped with all of the racers and race officials after
Tropical Cyclone Frank blew through the area. An extra week trapped on a Polynesian
island! She was also out in Santa Monica recently and tested out some new top-secret
Salomon skates with the great speed-skater, Eddy Matzger. (Click HERE
and check out photos titled "Flocking
Together", "Flowery
Prose on Wheels" and "Hip
Hypoteneuse" for more details)
Karin and Robin completed the 1998 Athens-to-Atlanta Skate Marathon last October.
Yup, all 86 miles in hilly Georgia on inline skates! We are directing the
Boston-area Team in Training Program for
this year's race, to benefit the Leukemia Society of
America. We figure if we managed to get our sorry selves across
the finish line, we can get ANYONE across the finish line! (Photos HERE)
Bridget and Brandy were on the Today
Show on March 23 AM! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Did anyone else catch it?
Lisa and Debbie Ganz's new book is
out, and features several sets of Extraordinary Twins, including the Corpenings,
the Gassmans, the Mullens, and the Travers! Check
the book out, and visit their fabulous new TwinsWorld
site on the WWW!
One of the Mullens (which one?
how embarrassing for one twin to get confused with other twins!) is going to be featured
in a new PowerBar Ad! Keep an eye out...
Robin had a chance to visit with Stuart Levy while they
were both down in New Orleans for the American Academy of Dermatology meeting. Just
don't ask how many beignets we ate. Check out Stuart's work in the Center for Adaptation Genetics
and Drug Research.
