Sergeant Majors typically grow between 4 to 6 inches.
They are usually found from the surface to a depth of 40 feet.
This fish is very common to Florida, the Gulf of Mexico, bahamas, Caribbean, Bermuda, and the Atlantic coastline.
Common to all habitats, this fish is very curious and will regularly approach divers.
