This is
where my university is located, and I had holidayed
here in my childhood.
It's
Australia's fastest-growing city, and the
population is currently at around 400000 people.
Over 30km of golden beaches are backed by towering
high-rise apartment buildings and canal estates
overflowing with beautiful waterfront homes and
behind all that is the hinterland with its national
parks filled with forest, fauna and waterfalls.
It isn't
all so perfect. There is quite a lot of crime and
the traffic is terrible. The weather is pretty
perfect although some might find it a bit too
humid.
The water
temperature is great, between 18.5 degrees in the
winter and 27 degrees in the summer.
