I've
recently been thorougly enjoying watching our own
Australian superstar, Kylie Minogue, become a
worldwide success story with her smash hit,
Can't Get You Out of My Head. The song
simply speaks for itself, the throbbing beat, the
catchy tune, it had to be big. Even in the US,
where there has been a distinct lack of Kylie since
1989. I bought her album Fever, and I enjoy
the second single, In Your Eyes even more
than CGYOOMH. Come into My World is
another one I love, as well as Fever and
Love at First Sight. Love Affair is a
grower.
Light
Years is Kylie's 2000 album and every song is a
corker, especially Disco Down and On a
Night Like This. She's been around for a long
time and is something Australia can really be proud
of. Confide in Me is her simply her best,
and Put Yourself in My Place and I Should
be So Lucky are another couple which I think
are great. Congratulations to Kylie on her mammoth
European tour which sounds like it's fantastic and
on her American success.
