Take a slow.... deep breathe.
As you exhale... feel your body start to relax.
Take another slow... deep breathe.
As you exhale... feel the tension start to ease away.
As you relax... think of a beautiful place.

In this place you feel safe and protected.
This is your special place.
You rest here until you are ready to move on.

As your breathing returns to normal,
imagine yourself along side a beautiful waterfall.
The pool below looks so inviting,
you find yourself wading in.

You discover the pool has a magical quality.
The water seems as though it penetrates the skin
and cleanses deep into the soul.
You feel the water cleansing
and start to heal the scars of the past.
You start to feel lighter
with the weight of the past being washed away.

When you are ready
Slowly return to your surroundings.
You feel refreshed and renewed.
As you continue your day
notice that tasks are accomplished more easily,
good things come to you more frequently,
and your life is somehow more appealing.

Remember as you travel through your future days
to return to your special cleansing pool,
to heal the bruises from your journey.
