On the northeastern part of Italy there is a valley, Val Canale,
that for centuries has been a point of intersection between three of the most
important cultures of our continent: the Latin, the German and the Slavic.
I was there on summer 1996 and, with the aid of my mountainbike, I toured many
old 1st World War's military paths in Italy, Austria and Slovenia.
Here is a selection of some of the picture I made during my MTB trips in this
