สวัสดี ค่ะ ยินดีต้อนรับสู่เกาะสมุย
           Visitors to Thailand - or Siam, as it was called in the past - should be warned that they are in danger of getting to attached to it, But then, if you do, no one can say you have been to liberal with your affections; Thailand just gives you so much, that you feel a duty to give something back.
        The climate is wonderful. Straring from the cool green hills of the north, and then going down to the sultry plains of central Thailand and further down to the powder white sun-drenched beaches of the south, the kingdom of Thailand offers you an amazing variety of scenery and atmosphere. People travel across the globe to spend a few days in Thailand's sunny south, sunbathing, sailing, fishing, diving or exploring the multitude of unspoilt tropical islands, all just short short boat trip away, or maybe you just want to relax. Alternatively - or additionlly, depending on your available time and inclination - there are the depending on your available time and inclination - there are the cool, friendly retreats at Chiang Mai and other towns of the north each offering their own identity and culture.
       Life can be very easy here, just like Thai people throughout the country. Often, and overwhelmingly, depicted as a fun loving, happy-go-lucky people, you will fine yourself at ease with them.
        And the there are those other things, which, taken together, not many other countries can hope to match. There is a vibrant cultural life that bears the impress of centuries of tradition. There is splendid shopping, a fallout of the modern nation's headlong rush into economic prosperity.
        And there is that wonderful Siamese cooking; Yes, Thai food is certainly one of the world's most exciting and delicious ciusines. All in all, this will be a holiday for you to cherish.

                                               *  Do not leave valuables unattended with your motorbike.
                                               *  Beware of roving vendors offering souveniers, gems or jewelry,
                                                   these people are often found bothering tourists on the beach, the products
                                                   are inferior and extremely expensive.
                                               *  Respect the cultural difference.
