Armonds Beach
Situated between Sydney and Melbourne
This might be one of the most beautiful nudebeaches of Australia! The beach is lying in a beautiful bay, where once in a while, you can see dolphins passing by.
The beach is surrounded by wood, which makes the place even more beautiful. You really should have visited this beach to believe that these places exist! Once you've been there, you'll surely come back there! Don't miss it when you are travelling between Sydney and Melbourne.
You can reach the beach from the Princes Highway between Sydney and Melbourne. It is located on about 3 km south of Cuttagee Beach. You will find the entry at Kullaroo Drive. From the car park you can get to the beach in about 10 minutes. There is a track that will lead you to the beach.
Belongil Beach
Located at Byron Bay, north coast of New South Wales, close to Queensland border.
It is only recently that the municipality of Byron has allowed nude bathing on the northern part of Belongil beach. Bob Reed, president of the Free Beach Association of New South Wales, believes that naturism should be tolerated on more beaches in the region, and that Byron Bay might become the Cap d'Agde of Australia, although at the moment Anna Bay is going into that direction.
Birdie Beach
This is a non-official nudebeach; you'll find most naturists on the northern part of the beach. Hundreds of people visit this beach during summer.
There is a nice camping as well, which offers a lot of facilities. Provision can be found at the lake of Munmorah.
The beach is located on about half an hour from Sydney. Follow the highway from Sydney and take the exit for Newcastle. Follow the Pacific highway through Doyalson to the lake of Munmorah. Take the Elizabeth Bay Road at the trafic lights there. Continue till find the entry of the Munmorah State Recreational Area at the left. Drive into the park and follow the signs that lead you to the Birdie Beach car park, from where you can walk to the beach. (The car park costs $7.50 per car.)
Cobblers Beach
Located north of Middle Head, within the harbor of Sydney.

Nudebeach that is especially visited by a large mix of men and women, and a minority of children. A lot of boats are passing by here; there even is a little boat that sells ice cream.
The beach is mostly visited by members of the Free Beach Association of New South Wales (that was founded because at Reef Beach nude bathing wasn't tolerated anymore).
Situated north of Middle Head, reachable via Military Road, pass the 'Mosman' area, and then via Middle Head Road.
Lady Bay
Located nearby Camp Cove, Watson Bay.

The oldest and most famous nudebeach, visited by a lot of tourists. Unfortunately, a lot of tourists pass the beach by boat to look at the 'nudies', which has made the beach less popular during the last years. The nearest facilities are on the road between Lady Bay and Camp Cove.
Situated at Watson Bay, 12 km north-east of the centre of Sydney. Go to Camp Cove Beach. Take the wooden stairs at the right side of the beach. Follow the road to South Head. You will find the beach in about 5 minutes. You can get there by bus from Circular Quay to Watson's Bay in about 35 minutes.
Little Conwong
Located in La Perouse National Park, Botany Bay.
Non-officual nudebeach with a nice view on Bare Island. It is the only beach south of Sydney where naturism is tolerated. The beautiful sandy beach has no facilities, but you will find toilets nearby the car park.
From La Perouse you will get to the beach in about 20 minutes. Park the car nearby Conwong Beach. Little Conwong is the second, smaller beach. Walk along the first beach towards the rocks, and follow the track that will lead you to Little Conwong Beach. You can get there by bus (bus 394) from Circular Quay to La Perouse. The bus stops at Conwong Beach.
Miners Beach
Non-official nudebeach that can be reached from Port Macquarie as follows: take the Pacific Drive along the coast. Pass the beaches of Flynns and Nobbys. You can also follow the Pacific Drive an take left to the Lighthouse Road. In about 100 meter you'll find a track that goes left. Follow the track to the beach.
Obelisk Beach

The beach offers very good swimming opportunities. There are no facilities at the beach. The beach is mostly visited by men.
The beach is situated nearby Cobblers Beach. Lying north of the bridge, nearby the 'Mosman' area. Reachable via Military Road and Middle Head Road. A sign indicates the way to the beach. You can also get there by bus (bus 244) from Wynyard Park to Balmoral Naval Base in about 30 minutes. Take the road to the right and you will find the beach nearby the car park.
Samurai Beach
Official nudebeach that is over 1 km in length. Very popular with surfers. The beach is next to the Bardots Nude Village Resort and has no facilities.
To get there, it takes a 3 hours drive from Sydney. The best road (sandy) to the beach is along the Bardots Nude Village Resort. It takes half an hour by feet to reach the beach from Gan Gan Road, Anna Bay. Visitors of Bardots can reach the beach via the backdoor, by passing the road and walk to the beach via the dunes.
Werrong Beach
Located 40 km south of Sydney, north of Wollongong, just inside the Royal National Park, near Otford.

It is an Official nudebeach, about 300m wide, lying next to a grassy field where you can camp. The beach used to be very popular. There are no facilities at the beach.
To get to the beach, you'll have to climb down for about half an hour, which makes it difficult for some people to get there.
