Mickey's
Toontown is home to some favorite Disney characters. Overall it's
a kiddieland, but it's still lots of fun. You can tour Mickey's
House (with a special surprise at the end), Minnie's House and
take a wild spin through the dark side of town on Roger Rabbit's
Car Toon Spin. And there's always a character around to sign an
autograph! Note: Mickey's Toontown generally closes earlier than
the rest of Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom. Check City Hall for
details.
Attractions
Talk about loony. This is
a zany trip through the dark side of Toontown with Roger Rabbit,
and you're in Lenny the cab. (Why Lenny and not Benny? Well,
Benny's helping Roger silly!) You narrowly escape getting dipped,
and the added twist is that you can spin your car all you want
(think Mad Tea Party on wheels). It's a lot of fun and kids love
it. Watch out for the deceptive line though, it winds around a
WHOLE lot.
USUAL WAIT: 40 minutes during peak times
Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin is a FASTPASS attraction.
The Jolly Trolley
Toontown's version of San
Francisco's cable cars. You get on and the Trolley sways and has
a windup top. It takes you from near Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin
to Chip 'n' Dale Treehouse.

Mickey's House
Yup, this is the actual
home of The Mouse. Look for all the cool details and all the
nifty Disneyana Mickey has. It's a simple walkthrough, but after
you cross the backyard you head into Mickey's Movie Barn where
you can meet him on the set of either Fantasia, Through The
Mirror, The Band Concert, or Steamboat Willie.
USUAL WAIT: 10-15 minutes at peak times
Goofy's Bounce House
Here's the place where all
the little kiddies shed their shoes and bounce on Goofy's
air-filled furniture. When my son was nine he was too big to get
in. Oy.
USUAL WAIT: 10 minutes at peak times
Minnie's House
Right next door to
Mickey's, this charming cottage is full of fun surprises and
interactive elements. Minnie is in her house from 11am-7pm, so
try and catch her then.
USUAL WAIT: 5 minutes at peak times
Gadget's Go Coaster
A pint sized Big Thunder
that lasts about 30 seconds. It's extremely tame, but is pretty
cool to look at. If the line is longer than a walk on, forget it.
In case you're wondering who the heck Gadget is, she was a
character on Chip 'N' Dale Rescue Rangers. Now showing on Toon
Disney Channel.
USUAL WAIT: 15 minutes at peak times
Donald's Boat
This large cruiser docked in Toon Lake, named the Miss Daisy, is
Donald's houseboat. There are interactive little surprises here
and there, and Donald occasionally is on hand for autographs.
USUAL WAIT: None
Chip 'n' Dale Treehouse
This is one of those
"Geez, why the heck did they put this thing in?"
attractions. You walk through a claustrophobia-inducing tree.
What fun!!! What pleasure!!! What general happiness!!! (Can you
sense my sarcasm?)
USUAL WAIT: None
The Disneyland Railroad
The station, which is
technically in Fatasyland, is one of the four in the Park. See Main Street,
U.S.A. for a full
description.
Live Shows!
There are no live performances in Mickey's Toontown.
Characters!
Characters abound in Toontown. You're guaranteed a chance to meet Mickey if you go through his house from 8am-8pm. He's always working on one of his movies, and gladly takes a break to welcome guests. Minnie can be found in her house from 11am-7pm. Characters seen walking around Mickey's Toontown include Roger Rabbit, Pluto, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Chip, Dale, Clarabelle, and many more. Break out the autograph books kiddies!
Shops
Gag Factory/Toontown
Five & Dime
This is your one stop for
Fab Five merchandise, frames, keychains, film, cameras, Mini Bean
Bag Toys, gags and rubber chickens. Located between Toon Square
and Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin.
Restaurants
Clarabelle's Frozen
Yogurt
A walk-up (there are no
sit down restaurants in Toontown) counter service place that
sells, you guessed it, frozen yogurt! Just in case you don't know
who Clarabelle is, she's the Disney cow. Clarabelle Cow. Get it?
Daisy's Diner
Another counter service
spot (I'm seeing a pattern here) that serves stuff like pizza and
Coke. No, it's not a real diner.
Pluto's Dog House
Pluto's small business
sells hot dogs. Get it? Dog House? Those Imagineers are so FUNNY!
