We had planned on a vacation to Napa and Tahoe long before the the accident, so given that Rick felt well enough to fly, we flew out on 19 Sep. Ed Schmitt, our carpenter, also went on vacation, chasing the remnents of Hurricane Floyd into Maine. We spent five days at the Calistoga Spa Hot Springs tasting great wines and eating great meals. We then drove over to our condo in Tahoe for seven days of hiking and dining. When we returned, Ed had sided the east side, the second story on the west side, and a shed on the north. After another week of work (only three days because of rain) we finished the north side and started on the south. Rick also covered the wine cellar with insulation and started to bury it.

North side: Martha's's office on the left, main entry in the center, and living room on the right. The guest bedroom and bathroom are on the second floor.	West side: The living room on the left, the pantry in the center, and the kitchen on the right.
South side: The kitchen on the left, the dining room in the center, and Rick's office on the right of the south side. The master bedroom and bath are on the second floor.	East side: Rick's office on the left, a bath in the center, and Martha's office on the right.
