| On the 17 and May 18 /1997 was
accomplished in a production of the Casa dos Açores de
São Paulo XXIII Festa of the Divine Espírito Santo,
with its traditional huts of having eaten typical as the
one of the malassadas, green broth, lingüiça and
alheira, etc. we Also had the presentations of the
folkloric group of the Casa dos Açores and also the
groups of the entities invited Casa da Ilha da Madeira
and of Arouca, and still the Group Ucrâniano, they also
came some samba groups and the Bandas Adonai, Som Maior,
Banda Milani, Banda de Itajai-SC and the martial band of
the Escola Salvador Rocco. |

On Sunday for the morning we had the
procession with the flags and the crowns representing the
Divine Espírito Santo, the andores of Our Lady of
Fátima and of the Mister Santo Cristo of the Miracles;
leaving the Casa dos Açores de São Paulo in direction
to the Church Santa Marina Virgem, where Santa Missa was
celebrated by Priest Ourídes. After the mass, the
procession came back the Casa dos Açores de São Paulo
where began the street festivities, as on Saturday (17).
The stewards of this year were the couple José Luiz
Oliveira Jacob and Maria Leonilda dos Reis Jacob. In the
beginning of the afternoon they were raffled the "
domingas " for next year and the new stewards that
will be the couple Antonio Marcos Pereira Oliveira and
Maria de Fátima Oliveira. Still in the ambit of XXIII
Festa of the Divine, we had on May 25 the Lunch of the
Collaborators, that is a type of gratefulness to the
donors, creators and collaborators that helped in the
accomplishment of the party of this year, and a form of
" requesting " its of collaboration for the
following year, as it consists in record of the
management, all and any event of the Casa dos Açores de
São Paulo, owes the Folkloric Group of the Casa dos
Açores de São Paulo to come, and in this event it could
not be different, turning the much most cheerful and
tasty lunch. |
