| Tenchi was just an ordinary Japanese school boy living with his father in Okayama. He was a quiet kid that did what he was told and helped his grandfather maintain the Masaki family shrine, and basicly, lived an ordinary life. An ordinary life until a chance meeting with the space pirate named Ryoko, who fell to Earth after a battle in space. Finding her on a roadside after witnessing her crash, he kind-heartidly helped her. That led to a chase by a vicious space pirate, who later revealed herself to be a Galaxy police officer named Mihoshi. Soon followed by Ayeka, Sasami, Washu, and misfit strangers, some good, some bad, and all weird. Since that day, Tenchi's home has been a battlefield for women across the universe, all after the same prize, Tenchi's affection. But Tenchi also finds out he's not as ordinary as even he thought. Waiting dorment in his are the powers of Jurai, and the power to weild the Wings of the Lighthawk. And, through all these changes occuring one after the other, one thing still remains the same, chores! By day, he tends the carrot patch, and by night, he saves the universe from the forces of evil, but at least things aren't so boring anymore. |
