We'd been creating elabourate stories for years before we ever thought to put them down on paper! But in 1991, Jez wrote a short novel that changed
everything for us. It was the seeds of the works we have today. Early versions of gangs such as The Vampires of Hollywood, and The Hanoi Boys started in that
old novel that hasn't been seen by anyone else since it was written. It probably won't be shown in its original form ever. But from it came a collection of lively, unusual vampires who see life just like we do, and who, most of the time, call Los Angeles home. And some vamps, they just think LA is a great place to visit, but they wouldn't want to die there.

In the world the two of us created there are as many breeds of vampires, not to mention Immortals, as there are breeds of dogs. In a world like that, there are no rules that must be followed. Our specific type of vampire is called the Middle Kingdom Vampire.  They are known to other vampires as "Day Walkers" because they can be in the sunshine. What also makes then different is that they can not only be made, but born!

In 1996, I (Gypsy) wrote a short story called The Candidate, which introduced a different sort of immortal. Vampires have had contact with these strange creatures, and have called them the only name they've ever had, 'Nothers. Later, as I get more of  the stories transferred to computer files, more stories of 'Nothers will appear. There is a slightly different feel between the vampire tales written by myself and Jez, and the 'Nothers stories written by myself. It's all good, and well, it's variety which makes life interesting!  Enjoy!

Note On Downloading The Stories

Whenever you see a link to a story and wish to download it, it usually works best if you put your cursor on the link, click on the right mouse button, and then save the story from the little menu that pops up when you click the button.  Some web browsers can be picky about downloading the stories, so if you're having trouble downloading a story by simply clicking on it, try right-clicking on it in the method described above, and everything should work out fine.
