It's back to the beach!!!! Survivor 4 started with a bang last night as TV all over the world tuned in the catch the first episode of Survivor4; Marquesas.
These 16 new castaways have once again been split up into two tribes of 8, Rotu (Tahitian for rain & maraamu Tahitian for wind). The two tribes commenced their journey by paddling through the rough waters of the south pacific for three hours to reach their beaches.

One on the beach things already began to heat up at Maraamu. Sarah, the account manager, showed up in her bikini thinking she doesn't have to anything. Sean Rector, a teacher from Harlem, showed the most problems with it saying she came here "with her boobs hanging out looking soooo marvelous (sarcastically), save this is survivor ain't nobody tryin' a look at you like that here." She did however have one admirer, Rob Mariano; a construction worker from Boston developed a strong bond with Sarah's boobs.

Over at Rotu Kathy began to obsess over the fire & drive John to his limit. Despite thier hard efforts the Rotu tribe remained fireless the first day.

That night at Maraamu things heated up as Sarah & rob became closer. They flipped over the raft they paddled in on & used it to sleep away from the others. Their tribe mates began to wonder if in fact they were just flirting or were beginning to make alliances.

Day two found the Rotu tribe in desperate need of water. After exploring their map & trails they were lead to an awesome surprise. ROTU HAD A WATERFALL!! "This is awesome!" says Neleh Dennis a student from Utah. The tribe was able to forget about the game and just have fun for a while until straight after Kathy Began about the fire again.
And finally after much fighting & grumpy people a fire was made by John & Zoë, Kathy was happy.

After receiving tree mail about the upcoming immunity challenge both tribes headed down to challenge beach, where the two tribes met up with Jeff probst who explained the challenge. Carrying an outrigger canoe outfitted with two torches, the tribes had to swim with the canoe out into the ocean, light the torches from a fire cauldron, then race back to shore while lighting a series of torches along the way. The first tribe to have successfully lit all the torches and cross the finish line would win.

After a crucial mistake by Sarah & hard work by Rotu, it was clear that Maraamu would have to kick the first person off.

Later that day, Peter annoyed the group by talking boldly about the strategies of the group & how the strong should stay strong. It was these actions & his talk about the holes in our bodies that lead his tribe to vote him off in a 5-3 vote. Until next time remember you can't "find yourself" by crapping.
