Survivor Marquesas is the fourth season of this CBS megahit. It is set in the Marquesas a chain of islands in French Pollenisia (the specific island is called Nuku Hiva).
The tribes have once again been split up into two groups of 8 castaways; Rotu(tahitian word for rain) will always wear blue & Maraamu(tahitian word for wind) will always wear yellow. Aside from competeing against the elements, hunger, boredom & the animals, they must also survivor each other.
The tribes will compete in challenges 2 times every 3 days. First in a reward challenge where instead of punishing the losers they reward the winning tribe with an item or trip of luxury.
When the two tribes merge (usually when they have 10 people left) the immuniy & reward challenges become every man for himself. The winner of each immunity will be exempt from that nights vote.
At the end the final 7 will come back to vote for one of the two remaining contestants to win. That person will claim the 1 million dollars and more importantly the ULTIMATE SURVIVOR.
