All players who have played in the Union League are eligible to be nominated for election to the Hall of Fame. Players will become eligible 6 seasons after their rookie season, therefore players who played their first season in 1876 will be eligible for the vote that takes place between the 1905 and 1910 season.

Players will be nominated for the Hall by the 2 co-ordinators of the Hall. Mike Mortimer will be responsible for the Federal League and Mark Whittaker will be responsible for the Players League.

Each human owner will be able to vote yes or no for each nominee. The percentage of the vote required is dependent on the number of human owners as follows:-

• 5 of 6
• 6 of 7
• 6 of 8
• 7 of 9
• 8 of 10
• 9 of 11
• 10 of 13
• 11 of 14
• 12 of 15
• 13 of 16

Each player who achieves the required vote will enter the Hall with a picture and details of his career stats and feats. Players will enter the Hall under the team decided by the nomination committee.

If a player does not reach the Hall at the first attempt he will have one appeal. A case must be put forward by a owner who considers that the player is worthy of the Hall. All relevant facts and feats and the owners reasons for the player to make the Hall should be presented. The human owners will then vote again using the same system as previously mentioned,if the player fails to make the Hall at this time he has no further chance. This appeal procedure will take place the season following the initial vote (eg the first appeals will be heard after 1910 and before 1915)

At the same time appeals are heard human owners may put forward one of the players from their own team as a candidate for the Hall. The reasons etc for the nomination must be made and presented to the other owners. If the nomination fails there is no right of appeal as the owner responsible should already have put forward the reasons behind his nomination.

Incorporated in the Hall will be an accomplishment section for special games,awards,feats etc. Nominations etc will be notified to league members each year by an end of season Hall of Fame newsletter.
