he walks up and says hello
he sees in her face she says hell no

he walks away and hangs his head
this feels like something he's read
He remembers staring from a distance
fighting his own resistance

sitting at home he can't forget her
seeing her face over again it blurs

wondering why he even tried

Returning to his world he says
locks the door and down it goes

sanity put away for another time
