STARDATE    08/05/2004

The crew has safely and triumphantly returned from the Land of Vulcan. Our own XO Sharon Lambert has been promoted to Commodore. Congratulations Sharon. The Captain has sent out a message this week giving a brief summary of IC '04. The Captain will give a full report at our monthly meeting that should occur on Saturday August 21st at 7 pm. On a sad note, our chief of security Ensign Jeff Schnoor has fallen ill and has been admitted to the hospital. We do not have word on his status but we hope is doing better. Until next time.

Due to scheduling conflicts, the 6th Annual Pool and Darts Tournament has been moved to October 16th. I have updated the calendar to reflect the change. I have spoken with the Captain and Ensign Schnoor has been released from the hospital and is at home recuperating. Get well soon, Jeff.

The Captain will be holding an pool party (our monthly meeting will occur after the party) at his apartment complex. The party will be on Saturday August 21st at approximately 11 am. The Captain will have a special presentation and cake. Please bring a covered dish to share with everyone. If you want to take a dip in the pool, please bring your bathing attire. Guests are welcome to join the festivities. Hope to see everyone there.
