17th New Shop! - Visitors to Brightvale may notice a new shop on the map. Brightvale Armoury is now open for business and stocks a wide variety of magical robes, armour and shields. Another Brightvale shop seems to have entered Neopia! 16th These Faerie tokens may help you gain an advantage in the Battledome. Wow these look great, I havn't found where you can buy them yet, though. If anyone has any ideas let us know.=)

Guild Members please disregard this, this is not meant for you, this is directed to the non-guild members that use this site for information. Non-Guild Members: I have recently gotten a few very offensive comments sent through our email forms and several just plain rude responses. BrightVale!!!

Discovery of Brightvale! Brightvale, the neighbouring kingdom to Meridell is home to all kinds of scholarly things. The land is ruled by King Skarl's brother King Hagan who values knowledge above all and despairs of his impetuous little brothers ways. How lovely, I knew brightvale would be a place I would be fond of. Here's the description from the webpage: Fifty miles east of Meridell there stands another castle, in a kingdom ruled by King Hagan the Wise (better known as the older brother of that scruffy oaf Skarl). The kingdom is known as Brightvale, a bastion of peace, knowledge and really lovely ornate windows. Ooo, stained glass!!! BrightVale contains three new shops as well: Brightvale Glaziers.     Brightvale Books The Scrollery There's even a new Wheel, added to our Links to the left, of course. Wheel Of Knowledge Why not give it a whirl?

As I expected.

The Vale's prediction that a new shop on the top of Terror Mountain has been proven correct! Grande Opening! Introducing Tarla's Shop of Mystery on top of Terror Mountain. Why not buy something from her, you could get something really amazing, but then again you might not... A strange looking Petpet has been spotted around the Rock Pool - the Trunkard. Some new Shopkeepers featuring the Space Faerie have been released.

Neopet Glitches!

Well, it seems the Neopet guild pages aren't working. You may have noticed this if you tried to post a message. Well, if you'd like to chat we have our Vale Forums for just such an emergency. I'll check back a couple times a day to see if anyone posted. Again, the forums link is to the right, under member services. I hope it can be a help, while Neopets is having difficulties.

New Neggs!!!

Brand New Neggs Neopets just released some great new neggs: Oooo they're so pretty! The Faerie Furniture Shop has been added to the Faerie City map. If only it was easier to get items from that shop. Instead this location will probably make it more difficult.

Down for Maintenance!

The Neopets site seems to be down for maintenance. It's been down since roughly 10:00 p.m. NST last night and is still down now, at 5:00 a.m. NST. I have no idea when it will be back up. If you have any information about the current down time, or questions you'd like answered, comment on this update and I'll try to respond as quickly as possible. In the mean time, since I luckily saved this to my computer, hopefully this Ruki image will entertain us. =)

The Verdant Vale

Hurray For Meridell! Today marks a very special occasion, the discovery of Meridell. To celebrate Neopets has released lots of new Meridell themed things. Some new items are books and toys, so head over to the Book Shop and Toy shop to see if you can buy some. Also, they've added some new foods at the Ye Olde Food Shoppe!. Guild Fund

I've posted the guild funds on the website on the "Why Donate?" page. Now you'll be able to keep updated on exactly how much the guild has. Also, the new forums are only for if we find the neopets message board to be too small. However, feel free to take a look and register but we probably won't have to use it for a while. =)

Avatars and Updates

I've updated a lot of the site the last few days. We now have an avatar guide telling you how to get all the secret avatars, an avatar lending section that we will start operating very soon, and lots of new blogs for your shops. I also added the Neopian Calendar with the closest special day highlighted. I've also decided to put the important Neopets news updates right here on our updates page. That means almost everyday new updates from the neopets news page will be here on our updates page. Send in all your thoughts on the updates with our contact page. I can't wait to hear what you think. =)

Iyana's Quest is now up. I'm so excited. I worked really hard on it, I hope you all enjoy it! There will be a quest every so often from Iyana and the prize will definitely be worth the wait. At the time that it's up, the first person to neomail me telling me they have the item will win the prize. Important: You must also have item in your trades at this same time. Luckily times are recorded all over Neopets, so it'll be easy to see who got what first. Happy treasure hunting! =)

Advertisements!

We have some great new advertisements to promote the guild with. They're under the ads section to the left. One of our first contests is the Referral Contest. You can read all about it on its page but to sum up: we need lots of people to join our guild, so whomever refers the most people will get a prize!

A short introduction

I'd just like to say "Welcome!" to all our new members. I'm very honored to be the second person to post here on The Verdant Vale's News Updates. A bit of advice: There's tons of useful information in this website and, although a bit much to take in all at once, everyone should try to read most of it eventually. But for starters, the rules, the welcome gifts, the giveaways, and the neoboard codes are probably the best places to start as they have the most pertinent information for new members and the success of the guild. Also, the referral contest is very important. Not only does it give out a prize but we need members to make this guild succeed. And I promise to have my profile up soon. But for now, yes my name really is Iyana, so how could I not join this guild dedicated to her?

Welcome Everyone!

This is the first update at the new website. We are all very excited here at the Vale and hope you all are too. As you'll see we have some great giveaways ready to go, as well as, some new contests that will be starting shortly and just some helpful neopets information that we thought would be useful for you, our Vale members. While looking at all the new features please be sure to check out the rules page so everyone will be able to enjoy themselves while here. Also, feel free to read the Council Profiles that will be up as soon as they are submitted. I'm looking forward to a great future and I can't wait to run into you on the guild message boards. =)
