My Religion
I'd
been a christian for most of my life, until, just recently, I experienced
a major theological crisis. Much of this had to do with various contradictions
in the Bible, the fact that the Bible seemed to have been ripped-off from
various other religions/cultures with cases of blatant plagiarism - particularly
noticable when you compare the babylonian Epics, Enuma Elish and
the Epic of Gilgamesh to the first nine chapters of Genesis
- and I was forced to give up my faith iin the so-called "Word of God" in
order to keep my intellectual and spiritual integrity. For a while I was
an atheist, but couldn't adequately explain many of the events in my life
which I previousely attributed to "God". So I reverted back to a belief
in the supernatural, though this time with a slightly different perspective.
I was a pantheist who believed in a "spirit of the universe". Subsequently,
I began practicing Wiccan rites and became an Odic Red Witch - that
is, a practitioner of chaos magick (also called red magick) with respect
to the Odic Force (the flow of energy through every living creature (plant,
animal, bacteria, fungus, etc.) on the planet).
At
this point I would like to say that although it may seem to the reader
that I chose the path of the Old Ways out of bitterness and a bit of curiousity,
it has since become much more to me. Being a Witch, for me, is not about
being anti-Christian or even about being different. It's about a strong
connection to nature that I have always felt, even as a Christian, but
never understood. It's about following a path which helps me (us) to understand
that connection better - we are not above nature, we are an integral part
of it.
My
Views on Christianity
My
reasons for disbelieving Christianity have to do with the lack of any historical
evidence for various events which occured in the Bible (such as the Hebrew
Exodus), as well as the mounds of evidence against a six-day creation and
of a world-wide flood. Not to mention historical evidence showing that
much of the first nine chapters of Genesis were plagiarized from Babylonian
myths. My Mission, to expose the Christian religion for what it truly
is:
-
A Fraud
-
A Cash
Machine for Pastors and Ministers
-
A False
Religion based in Babylonian Myths and Fairytales
-
A Materialist
Spirituality that Promises Rewards of Riches and Comfortable Living in
the Afterlife
-
An Insult
to all those who consider themselves Skeptics, Freethinkers, or anyone
with an ounce of Intellectual Integrity
-
A Belief
System Intended to keep people living Humble Lives, which puts "A Relationship
with Jeeeeezus!" above all Aspirations and Hopes for the Future.
-
An Excuse
to Practice Environmental Irresponsibility in favor of Capitolism (e.g.,
a healthy economy puts food in your kids' mouths - that must be more important
than a few species here and there!)
-
An Excuse
to Verbally and Socially Defame and Slander anyone who lives by virtually
ANY alternative lifestyle
-
A Religion
that Invokes the Ancient Pagan God, Yahweh, to Perform "prayers" (spells)
in order to cause Moral and Social Destruction - A Form of Black Magick
-
A Belief
System that Tries to Turn Back the Pages of History - by making Prayer
in School Mandetory, Excluding the Teaching of Evolution from Schools (or
at least wedge their little religious myth in with it), and Attempting
to keep Gay Marriages Illegal.
My people
have been BURNED, HANGED, SHOT, IMPAILED, DROWN, DECAPITATED, and even
pulled limb from limb by RUNNING HORSES by Christians over the past five
hundred years. Wiccans know better than anyone the destruction and senseless
violence practiced by Christians.
«--
Although Christians seem to be peacable and loving right now, it's only
a matter of time before they go on the move again. More than five million
people have died at the hands of the Christian Religion; from the Spanish
Inquisition, to the Cursades, to the Burning Times. Not
to mention the Catholic Church turning their heads during the Holocaust,
refusing to ex-communicate or even speak out against Adolph Hitler. The
Christian Religion must be extinguished before another great atrocity occurs.
People must see this religion for what it really is, or else they themselves
could be the ones burning and torturing those of opposing faiths. My mission
- to play a part in mankind's salvation.. To help put an end to the one
and only source of TRUE, PURE EVIL in this world - Christianity.

Now
I just need to learn how to live with the guilt that I was once a Christer.
Don't
get me wrong, though. I'm not saying that Christians are bad people. Most
of the Christians I know are decent enough, and I can only think of a few
friends I have who are not Christian. I am only saying that the religion
itself is dangerous - and one need only to pick up a history book to see
the evidence for this. For the most part, I tend to think of those who
follow the religion of Christianity as innocent pawns - with the exception
of a few who believe in the Christian God but are nonetheless very critical
of the sort of actions I have just spoken of. These are people I kind of
like to think of as "closet wiccans". |
